Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) will contribute to WaterLANDS by addressing the ecological and physical aspects of wetland restoration, as well as leading some aspects of this work. GTK has a strong track record in research areas including water management and circular economy. GTK will bring its experience of working on national and international projects on topics like peatland soil/ carbon dynamics and peatland mapping and modelling.
