NUI Galway

With a strong track record in strategic policy development, the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) will lead WaterLANDS in its aim to align governance with wetland restoration. NUIG will identify and develop, through a participatory approach, suitable policy frameworks for the successful restoration of inland and coastal wetlands and their ecosystems. NUIG’s strong interdisciplinary expertise in wetland restoration and valuable policy experience will facilitate the co-creation of best practice. Additionally, NUIG will participate in outreach activities including dissemination of the project results.
