With a strong track record in strategic policy development, the University of Galway will lead WaterLANDS in its aim to align governance with wetland restoration. University of Galway will identify and develop, through a participatory approach, suitable policy frameworks for the successful restoration of inland and coastal wetlands and their ecosystems. University of Galway’s strong interdisciplinary expertise in wetland restoration and valuable policy experience will facilitate the co-creation of best practice. Additionally, University of Galway will participate in outreach activities including dissemination of the project results.
