Susan Baker

Susan Baker is based at Cardiff University, Wales, and has a background in economics and philosophy. She is involved in research of environmental governance in the EU, including the promotion of sustainable development, democratic participation and eastern enlargement, including in Bulgaria. She has an interest in island nations and is currently involved in a project in the Aran Islands in the West of Ireland looking at soil ethics and soil production. She is founder of Regrow Borneo which is involved in forest restoration and co-founder of the Sustainable Places Research Institute.
