As the coordinator of WaterLANDS, UCD will act as the overall project manager and is responsible for overseeing the project’s design and implementation as well as the reporting of results. UCD will lead in restoration management by coordinating and pairing the Knowledge and Action sites, supporting the exchange of experience and innovation between sites, monitoring progress and regulating the disbursement of funds to support practical restoration. UCD holds strong interdisciplinary expertise in wetland restoration and will contribute their knowledge relating to restoration, community engagement, aligning governance and mobilising finance. Further, UCD will engage with communication and knowledge transfer of the project results.
