WaterLANDS: Water-based solutions for carbon storage, people and wilderness
WaterLANDS is a €23.6 million, 5-year EU-funded project that will restore wetland sites across Europe and lay the foundations for scalable protection across much wider areas.
Key results, resources, and tools from WaterLANDS to support decision-making and guide on best practices and processes for delivering wetland restoration have been highlighted below.
The results of this project will be made available through deliverables, publications, reports and open access data which will be added to the website as they become available.
The WaterLANDS project is led by University College Dublin, Ireland and brings together 32 organisations from research, industry, government and non-profit sectors in 14 European countries.
