Dianna Kopansky is the Coordinator of the Global Peatlands Initiative based at the UN Environment Programme in Nairobi, Kenya. An expert in ecosystems and biodiversity, she delivers a suite of landscape management and climate change programmes bringing science to policy, to contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals. For UNEP, she works globally and leads teams to develop and implement large-scale projects such as the Global Peatlands Initiative, UN-REDD Programme, Interfaith Rainforest Initiative, UNDAF and 17 MDG-F Environment and Climate Change Joint Projects.
