Video: Integrating Diverse Disciplines for Holistic Wetland Restoration with WaterLANDS

Today, Europe has lost nearly 80 percent of its wetlands.

In October 2023, members of the WaterLANDS team gathered in Ede, the Netherlands, at the Wetlands International HQ to further the projects work on developing a new, integrated narrative for wetland restoration that views restoration not only in terms of environmental gains, but also considers the social and economic benefits for the people who live close to or work on the wetlands.
