Moorwissen.de provides information on peatlands and their importance for climate protection and biodiversity. The platform offers different types of materials to appeal to a variety of audiences, including short explanatory videos, and scientific studies.

Purveyors of the website will first find a summary page with facts about peatlands, common threats that they face, historical developments in their protection, and steps in peatlands research and politics.

The platform also provides details of projects and best practices from Greifswald Mire Centre partners, and has different sections for creative peatland projects, paludiculture, and news and events.
