Water@leeds, based at the University of Leeds, is one of the largest interdisciplinary centres for water research in any university in the world, encompassing expertise from across the physical, biological, chemical, social and economic sciences as well as engineering and the arts. Water@Leeds engages with a variety of research areas including natural flood management, climate change and species distributions, urban freshwater ecosystems and peatland modelling (DigiBog Project). The Water@Leeds team created and manages the Yorkshire iCASP programme, which is one of the WaterLANDS Action Sites. Water@Leeds supports high-quality research outputs, partnership working, positive societal and environmental impact, and upskilling the next generation.
