Event Summary: Financing Europe's Peatlands - Building the Next Generation of Nature Markets

On 3 July, the Landscape Finance Lab joined the European Investment Bank (EIB) and WaterLANDS in Paris to bring together a select group of policymakers, financiers, corporate buyers, landowners and project developers to discuss the recommendations of the Financing European Peatlands Roadmap, published earlier in the year.

Together they stress-tested the Lab's discussion paper, with the aim of making updates to its recommendations, and identifying next steps for turning peatland restoration from a niche activity into an investable asset class.
