Publication: People or with nature - Busting 24 myths to reverse biodiversity loss and drive transformative change through Nature-based Solutions

On the 25th of September at the Network Nature annual event 2024, WaterLANDS got the opportunity to collaborate with Network Nature and other partners to discuss the myths that are leading to biodiversity loss. 24 myths were discussed, shedding light on common misconceptions about biodiversity and a booklet detailing the myths and their misconceptions was published. Our aim for this collaboration was to take a deep dive into these myths to reverse the biodiversity loss and drive transformative change through nature-based solutions.

“… as climate change and biodiversity loss intensify, the persistence of certain myths can hinder the transformative change needed to build more sustainable societies.”

The 24 myths and their misconceptions can all be read in the People or with nature report below.
