Study on the Socio-Economic Impacts of Restoration Activities in Saarde Parish

This socio-economic study carried out by the WaterLANDS Estonian Action Site partners explores the direct and indirect economic impacts of restoration projects at the local level (e.g., employment, entrepreneurship, tax revenue) in Saarde Parish.

The study also explores whether restoration projects could give rise to new areas of activity, such as tourism and recreation-related services, provided that the municipality and businesses are interested and the necessary infrastructure is in place.
